Congregation
Ner Tamid is an egalitarian Conservative congregation with
community of warm and welcoming people who come together to pray,
celebrate, learn, and practice Tzedakah. We are a small and
haimishe community where people come to help each other through
life’s ups and downs and to form life long friendships. We are a
mostly adult community but we welcome families with children and
invite all children to participate in our service.
Our mission is to meet the diverse spiritual, religious educational and social needs of our members and to further the causes of the Jewish people and the State of Israel. We strive to build unity with our fellow Jews of all persuasions and affiliations and the community at large, in a spirit of love and respect. We extend an invitation to you to visit our synagogue, to participate in our programs and activities, and to attend Shabbat and Holiday Services. We know that you will find Ner Tamid a place that will make you feel welcome. Congregation Ner Tamid is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism [USCJ] - Northern California Region.
